Feather Finishing Workshop

Workshop with Sonja and Jefferson Balleur of Bay Mills Indian Community and Pokagon Band of Potawatomi.
Dance Feathers (Plumes & Center Feathers) Fans and Men’s Traditional Bustles Only; Supplies available on a first-come, first-serve basis for HIC tribal members and descendants.
Each session of the workshop will include: introductions, smudging, learning community wants and needs, historical knowledge, and modern techniques, tool teaching and safety, assembling project for dancing or personal ceremonial use.
