Adult/Child Welfare Board
The Adult and Child Welfare Board consists of seven (7) members of the tribe elected by the Tribal Membership at the regularly scheduled Tribal elections. The members of the Board elect a Chairperson, Vice Chairperson and Secretary annually.
The Adult and Child Welfare Board meets on the second and fourth Monday of every month at 10:00 a.m. within the Tribal Chambers.
Mission Statement
The adult/child welfare committee is created for the purpose of protecting the best interests of the adult/children and promoting the stabilitiy and security of the Tribe and its Native families by fully exercising the Tribe’s rights and responsibilities under the Indian Child Welfare Act of 1978 and the Hannahville legal code.
