School Board
The School Board consists of seven (7) members and two (2) alternate members of the tribe elected by the Tribal Membership at the regularly scheduled Tribal elections. Members of the School Board elect a Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, Treasurer and Secretary annually.
The School Board meets on the second Thursday of every month at 3:00 p.m. in the conference room located near the Day Care entrance of Hannahville Indian School. All dates and times are subject to change. Due to confidentiality reasons, some meetings may have closed sessions.
Mission Statement
The mission of the Hannahville Indian School is to promote life-long learning which encourages the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual development of each individual, family member, and the community as a whole.
Through the promotion of lifelong learning, our community will be composed of individuals who are respectful of themselves, their families and others. They will also be secure in their culture, and have the ability to set life-long goals, achieve personal satisfaction and productivity and who proudly fulfill their roles within their community, state and nation.
